How to use

  1. Enter the text or address to embed in the QR code. To open a website, include the complete address starting with https://.
  2. Choose PNG or SVG in Download format and click Generate QR Code.
  3. Test the preview with a QR reader and confirm its content. Then use Download QR Code; generate again after changing the text or format.

How it works

A static QR code's content cannot be changed after it is generated; create a new code if the address is wrong.

An example

Enter your website's full address, such as “https://example.com”, to create a QR code that opens that page.

Common questions

Does a static QR code expire?

The code itself has no expiration date. A link inside it only works while the destination address remains available.

How can I check whether a printed QR code will work?

Test the image and a printed sample with a phone. Keep the margin around the code, use good contrast, and choose a readable size for the intended scanning distance.
