How to use

  1. Choose a length between 8 and 128 characters, following the limits of the service where you will use the password.
  2. Select at least one group: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, or symbols. The password will include at least one character from each selected group.
  3. Click Generate and then Copy. Save the result in a password manager before generating another one or leaving the page.

How it works

Randomness comes from the browser's crypto.getRandomValues API. This does not eliminate risks such as malicious extensions, screen capture, phishing, or access to your device. Use a unique password for each account.

An example

For a service that requires uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and digits, select those three groups and choose 20 characters. The generated password will include at least one character from each selected group.

Common questions

Does the password leave my browser?

The tool generates the password locally and does not send it to Multi. Copying places it on your device's clipboard; pasting it into another service subjects it to that service's practices.

Which lengths are supported?

Choose from 8 to 128 characters. The password contains at least one character from every selected group. Check the service limits and prefer a long, unique password.

Should I save the password before generating another one?

Yes. Generating another password replaces the displayed result, and the tool keeps no recovery history. Save the password in a password manager before leaving the page.
