Days between dates
Find how many calendar days separate two dates.
How to use
- Select the Start date and End date you want to compare.
- Select Include the end date as well to count both endpoints. Leave it unchecked to measure only the elapsed interval.
- Click Calculate and read the total Calendar days. The count includes weekends and holidays.
How it works
Calendar-day differences include weekends and holidays and do not represent the exact elapsed time in hours.
An example
October 10 to October 15, 2026 is a difference of 5 days; counting both dates as days in the period gives 6 days.
Common questions
Is the starting date included in the difference?
The difference measures elapsed days. A date compared with itself has a difference of zero. Add one day if you want to count both endpoints of a period.
Do leap years affect the result?
Yes. February 29 is included when it falls within the interval.
